The writing to this book is a bit different than I am used to. It is definitely uniquely. At first some things didn't make sense and I realized, that’s just how the Author handles things, to keep you interested. Most authors cut to the chase while this one makes you wonder a bit more than expected.
There are so many mysterious things going on. So many questions aching to be answered. As the book continues, more mystery hits and more questions form. I do wish there were emotional or mental details of what the character is feeling and thinking rather than so to the point of each thing she does with no real explanation. Though the feel of the character’s personalities, it does fit in nicely.
This book is science fiction. It releases a lot of information for explanation in chunks, so in order to appreciate the work, you need to be able to digest it all and remember it while the book unfolds. The hostile creatures are a lot to mentally visualize because there are quite a few types and they hold certain purposes. They are definitely a selfish evil who don’t care about mankind, only creatures like them. They are power hungry.
The thing that kind of bothers me is there are random names of people thrown in with no identifier as to who they are. I’m guessing they are also agents of some sort. Overall, once I got used to the writing, it was incredibly easier to understand and follow. There’s even a little unexpected romance. For my sci-fi lovers, this may be a book to put on your list. Hopefully a second book comes out soon, the idea behind the book is good enough to continue.
